Over the last 5,000 years, humankind has become the greatest success story this planet has ever seen. What we have created together is phenomenal. The man-made system our ancestors invented at the dawn of civilization has fulfilled its Purpose-we have become happier, healthier and wealthier than at any time in our history. However, if we continue to use the same system for the next fifty years, humankind will go extinct. The system is no longer fit for purpose. Its success was predicated on the dual principles of extracting capital from individuals and raw materials from the planet. For the vast majority of these 5,000 years, the ends-growth-justified these means. However, The Industrial Revolution and the internet have accelerated this philosophy of extraction to the point where the entire system is breaking down. Inequality and climate change are the two most visible symptoms of this breakdown.Now, we need to rebalance, reimagine and recreate the system so our children and grandchild
