It includes one of the Temptations’ signature songs, “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” which won three Grammy Awards in 1973 for Best R'n'B Performance by a Group, Best R'n'B Instrumental Performance, and Best R'n'B Song. The album was #1 on the Billboard Top R'n'B Albums Chart and reached #2 on the Billboard 200, making it the band’s most successful non-collaborative album on the chart. This is the first official U.S. vinyl release.
