There’s a wholehost of reasons and hypotheses as to why villages like Chorey have longgotten the short end of the stick, but the important thing to remember isthat perceived knowledge only goes so far, and then you have to branchout and turn over a few unassuming stones. You won’t always findprecious metal, but when you do it will very likely resemble this lovely,floral, sensual Pinot that hits all the Côte de Beaune marks with aplomb.And the wine tastes even better because it is a hidden gem!
