The Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape,” which would have likely faced delays if dropped a few months back, is set to land both globally and here in the US later this week, ushering in a timely follow-up to June’s “Top 3” colorway. Teased for the better part of the past year, the pair has been well-observed and is evidently straightforward. As its namesake would imply, the same “Grape” tones are reused here just in different order: purples accent the suede paneling in near entirety while the aqua blue prefers to dress up the midsole decals, lace toggle, and the Jumpman branding at the tongue.
