At the start of the 20th century, the painter Wassily Kandinsky began fragmenting the realism in his paintings. He was inventing a new art movement -Abstraction. Similarly, these earrings take flat shapes and fragment them into something entirely new. The design was inspired by the artwork of August Orlowski, age 9.  Electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print, posts are hypo-allergenic.Hangs approx. 1.75"
