This system uses up to 75% less chlorine than traditional hot tub systems. The gray SmartChlor cartridge lasts up to 4 weeks and the blue Mineral cartridge lasts up to 4 months.  With the FROG @ease Floating Sanitizing System for Swim Spas , you only need to shock (oxidize) when you change the gray SmartChlor cartridge.Another great feature is that the FROG @ease Floating Sanitizing System for Swim Spas contains no cyanuric acid (CYA).
