Mono Trousers - Red Rain Charcoal "Redpath" Flannel

MotivMFG is headed by Samuel Wei, founder of Radiance Blue and the pioneer of the heritage market in China; and Daniel Gu, a third-generation tailor and designer. Together, they combine old-world tailoring (from various antique European manuals) with workwear production techniques. Constant research into garment production techniques from around the world inform their designs, with the goal of recreating, as opposed to just reproducing. The Mono Trousers are an exaggerated straight leg dress trouser with an elongated silhouette and an emphasis on verticality. Though they've got a pretty exaggerated fit, cut with a high rise and big legs, the waist is true to size, for a more defined shaped overall. Paired with the fabric (more on that in a second), the overall garment is an extremely elevated, comfortable trouser as a separate and as a suit.
