Riding Pants - Chestnut 8-Wale Corduroy
Monitaly garments feature a "global perspective", seeking the best regional fabrics and local artisans for each particular style. Not content to simply make reproductions, they constantly seek to push aesthetic boundaries while maintaining the highest quality across every single one of their highly specialized lines. The Riding Pant is inspired by military trousers worn by dispatch motorcycle riders of the 1940s and 50s. They are cut with a single pleat and an aggressive tapered leg from the knee. The pants feature front slash pockets and two back welt pockets with buttoned flaps. Made from a 100% cotton 8 wale corduroy, it's a comfortable medium-heavy fabric that clocks in at about 320gsm. It's a great everyday fabric, not so light as to feel dressy, but also not so heavy as to feel rugged and outdoorsy. The standard melamine buttons, a Monitaly trademark, are used throughout. Made with lock stitch finished side seams and double-needle top stitching. True to size with a relaxed fit. D
