Late 19th-century French dining chairs made in the style of Napoleon III, sourced from Provence, France. Hand-crafted from solid walnut wood featuring a square-shaped back decorated with a hand-carved crown with engraved "EC" initials. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly reupholstered in lovely textured weave in off-white color fabric. The fabric has been clean-finished with double piping trim. The chairs are supported by elegantly carved legs conjoined by curved stretchers. The front legs are extended with caster feet. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship ready for daily use. - Origin: Provence, France - Dimensions: W 19.25" x D 16.5" x H 36.25" - seat height 18" - Condition: The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered.
