David Bust Lamp - Warm White - 3D Printed
One of the most recognizable statues in the world turned into a lamp. This lamp was created by using a 3D scanned casting of the original David. The statue of David was originally commissioned to be put on the roofline of the Florence Cathedral, but was instead placed in the public square known as Piazza Della Signoria, outside of the Palazzo Vecchio. The Florentines saw David as a symbol of their struggle against the Medici family and decided that the sculpture was too good to place on the roof. It was then unveiled on September 8, 1504.
