Bold, daring and full of color is the best way to describe the Pop art series. hey start with up-cycled luxury boxes or shopping bags that are trimmed into the background shape, collaged and then embroidered. The embroidery is stitched directly through the actual box itself. Each petite features intricate embroidery stitches that truly make each one unique. The pop petites use fabric strips that we create in the studio using dozens of pieces of silk that are embroidered together and then turned into icons, drips or backgrounds. The way the colors play against each other are amazing and since the fabric is created in the studio each piece different and has its own vibe. Each petite is framed and mounted in acrylic.
