Get creative with this relaxing, fun, beginner-friendly class at our DTLA Arts District studio. Classes meet weekly for two hours for a total of four sessions, with open studio time every day for you to practice on your own. See below for the class schedule.  Location This class will be held at our new Downtown location!  Still Life Studio 588 Mateo St Los Angeles, CA 90013 Class Outline This class will be held at our new DTLA location: 588 Mateo St. During this four week course, you will learn the basics of hand building through techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction. We will also go over surface decoration and get creative with glazing. Handbuilding is a freeform, meditative process and you'll be able to use your skills to create a variety of objects like teacups, vases, bowls, planters, and small sculptures. This class is perfect for those who have no prior experience with clay, as well as wheel throwers who would like to try something different.
