This feature that is unused in the manual transmission vehicles is covered by a stamped steel plate which seals the oil surface with a flat surface and a stripe of RTV. This panel and its potential oil leaks onto the exhaust are a common warranty item with the BRZ, FR-S and GT-86. Nameless Performance offers a CNC machined billet aluminum replacement for the factory stamped steel part. Utilizing all of the features in the cylinder head to properly align the assembly to the cylinder head using factory dowel holes, as well as an o-ring and plug on the back side of the plate, this system is guaranteed to seal the oil passage in the back of the cylinder head, eliminating the risk of leaks, and eliminating the use of RTV in this area of the oiling system on the vehicle.
