American artist Sally Deng painted "Ascension" as one of four illustrations to accompany the cover story for Summit Journal 322 (Spring 2025). The story, "Something Lost Behind the Ranges," written by Michael Wejchert, recounts Dmitry Golovchenko and Sergey Nilov's attempt to climb the southeast ridge of Gasherbrum IV. Sally has produced a limited edition of 10 giclée fine-art prints, 26x18", each individually signed and numbered.
