Note from Sundara...One thing that can be a conundrum when you want to use color theory for color combining is how to use red and green, which are complements, in a combo without them looking like CHRISTMAS. Christmas really ruined red and green for the rest of the year. Complements, in case you have forgotten, are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. The answer, of course, is to lighten the red into pink. Which is why we all love a good pink and green combo. One of the freedoms of not using an inspiration photo for the last few days is that I'm able to dye up colors I haven't felt the freedom to in a while. This green? Absolutely impossible to find in the photos I have access to. Or at least in photos that I have access to that are also pretty. It's a gorgeous, gorgeous green. I've avoided dyeing this particular green for years specifically because I can't find it in photos. And it is phenomenal with pink. Obviously it is, we are still talking math here. You can't g
