The First Clouds of Dawn
extra fine fingering merino
just a few skeins left!
Note from Sundara...This set of colors could easily be worked up into a total showstopper. What project that might be, I have no idea. You all are a lot smarter than I am when it comes to figuring out what to knit with my yarn. But the color combination is so unexpected, they make you look twice, and then look more closely. As for each individual color, they photographed remarkably true, so what you see is pretty much what you get. I wanted to capture that field of lupine covered in mist (#4, far left), along with the pale yellows and oranges of the sunrise (#3, middle left). The darker, deeper purples of the upper sky are in #1 (far right), and I decided to add a bit of those darker orange to those same purple clouds in #2 (middle left). You could mix and match any of the skeins, as they all go well together, but I'm still partial to the set because I like my showstoppers. "The First Clouds of Dawn" will not be dyed again. 3 skeins left of #1, 2 skeins left of #3, & 4 skeins left
