
The Secret Garden set
Note from Sundara...All right. Buckle up cause this one is going to take some explaining, and then I've got pattern suggestions. If you don't feeling like listening to me ramble on and you like the yarn, just skip down and buy it. No need read on. So, a while ago, I happened upon some other yarn dyer's "secret garden" yarn and, let me first say I have never criticized another yarn dyer's yarn. It would be rude, the height of bad manners, uncalled for, and I figure they have their aesthetic, I have mine and it's all good. But this. Oh my goodness. I saw this Secret Garden yarn, and it was a set, and it was nothing, NOTHING, like I would have expected a secret garden inspired set of colors to be. There was no green. There was no pink. There was nothing flowery about it. It was so not secret gardeny, I found myself texting my knitting friend and making snarky comments like "What is that? Secret garden on the moon? Barren desert secret garden hell scape?" Because it was not anything like a
