A portion of donations for this class will be provided to NAACP Bio: Douglas McCoy has spent over 24 years in the hair industry, beginning at a small strip mall salon in Redmond, Washington. Through networking and perseverance, he made his ascent, eventually training with some of the top masters at Vidal Sassoon and Bumble and Bumble. There, he met Howard McLaren, who would eventually ask Douglas to be a member of the R+Co Education team. McCoy is very accomplished both behind the chair, and behind the lens of a camera. He has worked six seasons of New York Fashion Week at shows including BCBG, Lacoste, and Rebecca Video of the Year and Best Over All Video of the Year from the Hairbrained
