I See You See Me
This design holds a special place as one of my earliest creations. One of the hardest parts of recovering from my bone marrow transplant was enduring the constant stares due to my altered appearance. I decided to paint "cancer survivor" on all my shirts; if people were going to stare, I wanted them to understand why I looked different. Surprisingly, it worked wonders! I felt a newfound strength and empowerment. The beauty of the shirt was that once people read it, their stares transformed into a sense of understanding, putting an end to their staring immediately. Now, this new design takes it up a notch. A Seeing Eye Chart? Yup, but with a meaningful twist. To say the least, staring is impolite and unsettling. If you've ever felt the same, consider trying out this shirt. Their stares will shift from you to your shirt, then how will they feel?! -Stephanie This shirt isn’t just fabric – it’s a shield of resilience for a child facing adversity.
