Welcome home house draught stopper and quilt blocks 4x4 5x7 in the hoop machine embroidery
This is a machine embroidery design. The blocks are made in the hoop and then joined with your sewing machine. Our draught stopper has one house at each end. The letters included in the design are W, E, L, C, O, H, and M. There are also two different house designs included. This is a raw edge applique and there is no satin stitch. We have done two layouts examples for our draught stoppers in the 4x4 design. The ‘Welcome’ layout has a total of 9 block and is the best fit for a standard sized door of 32 inches wide. The ‘Home’ layout has a total of 8 blocks and fit a smaller door size than the standard. If you want to make your draught stopper longer or shorter just use a different combination of blocks. If you would like to make a draught stopper using the 5x7, a combination of 7 blocks should fit a standard door size. In addition to making the draught stopper, you can use these blocks to make quilts, table runners or hangers just to name a few. Some example alternative layouts for q
