Single Origin: Indonesia. Our Korintje Cinnamon Sticks Grade AA are a high quality type of cinnamon that is sourced from the Korintje region of Indonesia. They are known for their rich, sweet aroma and warm, spicy flavor.  They are commonly used in cooking and baking, as well as in traditional medicinal practices. They are also considered to be a good source of antioxidants. Add whole 4 inch in pies, pastries and other sweets. Also pairs well with pumpkin and other squashes and is a necessary ingredient in many curries. Break stick in half for deeper flavor. Cultivating and Harvest: Cassia is an evergreen tree with a white aromatic bark and angular branches. Small yellow flowers hang from long stocks, and bloom in early summer. It grows in hot, wet, tropical climates both wild and commercially. The stems are cut down when the bark is mature.
