Chateau Chasse-Spleen, Moulis-en-Medoc 2022 Blend: 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 6.5% Petit Verdot, 2.5% Cabernet Franc Year: 2022 Alcohol: 13.5% Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark purple-red color with a vivid purple rim. Restyrained dark-fruit aromas have an earthy touch. The palate is of mid-weight, showing fresh redcurrant & cranberry fruit which shows a little tannic bite before more drying cedary tannins cut in. The wine has a core of sweet red licorice. Sweet spice & cedar notes close up the mid-palate but there is enough red-fruit to leave the finish juicy & fresh.
