Mario DeNoto, Abstract Sculpture on Base (1971)

Description This is a small abstract sculpture carved from, we think, marble, and mounted on a marble base.  We do not know anything about DeNoto other than the fact that his pieces, mainly from the 60s and 70s, are highly collected.  We love the way the form looks like it is two pieces fused together, but is actually carved from one piece of stone.  This sculpture looks great on a coffee table stacked on top of books.
