Description We are big fans of Elaine Kaufman Feiner.  This painting is yet another illustration of why we feel that way. In her later years, when she lived for part of the year in the Florida Keys, the sea became a major focus of her work.  Paintings from this period are moody, ethereal, layered and complex. This one is especially layered and less monochromatic than our other painting from this period.  Like Skylight, this painting also shows the influence of her mentor, the noted artist Gabor Peterdi.  hang this where and when you would like to evoke your own memories of the sea.
