Description We were very fortunate to acquire a collection of ceramic works by celebrated UK artist David Garland.  This bowl takes functionally to a new height.  Yes, you can certainly use it as a serving piece, but we certainly wouldn't put it away in a cabinet.  Put it on a table and stare at the gorgeous spatter pattern and raised detailing.  That's what we do. About the Artist Born in England in 1941, David Garland grew up in New Zealand. In 1961 he returned and trained at the London College of Printing. Later, he taught there, and at the Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, as a senior lecturer. During that period he was also a working artist and had his first one-man exhibition of paintings at the Drian Galleries in 1963.
