Description This is another of Grippi's iconic figural works. This one, depicting two juxtaposed figures, is the largest we have in our collection. We think the simple matting and gold frame highlight the graphic nature of the work quite well. An important member of the New York School of Abstract Expressionists, Grippi was born in 1921 in Buffalo NY. Like many artists of his generation, he served in Europe during World War II.
