Help Lucas Explore His World

Hello Kind People, My name is Jackie and I'm fundraising for my wonderful 8-year-old great grandson, Lucas. Lucas has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, which affect his mobility and require him to use a wheelchair with assistance. However, his current wheelchair is not suitable for all outings. It’s heavy and difficult to put in a car for transport. And because of his condition, Lucas rocks his upper body and pushes backwards in the wheelchair, almost tipping it over. It has just become very unsafe. He really needs both a stroller along with the wheelchair he has now. We are hoping to raise $5,091.00 for a new specialized stroller called the “Convaid Coaster.” Unfortunately, insurance and Medicaid will not cover the cost of the stroller.
