Tristen Needs Some Relief

Tristen is a beautiful boy that was diagnosed at 2 months old with something called lissencephaly. The doctors said he wouldn't live past 3 years and he will be turning 13 next month. He has abnormalities in his brain and the way that it grew.  Due to this he suffers from seizures, is blind and does not walk or talk. He's a tube fed only child and is very rigid since during covid physical and occupational therapies were virtual only.  He is in constant pain due to not having adequate seating equipment as our insurance does not cover much and most times he's limited to his bed propped up on pillows and weird contraption's I try to use to accommodate his needs. He relies on us to anticipate every need. As a single mom of 4 it is hard to get a lot of the adaptive equipment he needs.  We are looking for a seating solution to have him engage more with everyone comfortably so that he is not so isolated and always in his bed and I think this may be his best choice and it can also be moved fro
