This Is Sleep Diagnostics

Course Description This course provides an evidence-informed overview of sleep diagnostics with emphasis on terminology, data interpretation, and the clinical relevance of sleep-disordered breathing. Participants will learn to interpret key elements of sleep studies, understand respiratory event classifications, and evaluate sleep study reports for patterns that may impact communication, cognition, and overall health. Special focus is given to recognizing upper airway resistance, REM fragmentation, and sleep architecture changes relevant to pediatric and adult populations.
