Longhi, Giuseppe - "Pan & Syrinx" Etching-Engraving

Etching combined with engraving, an original print by Giuseppe Longhi (1766-1831), depicting Pan & Syrinx in a scene of the story by Roman poet Ovid, where the lusty satyr Pan pursues the nymph Syrinx, who would transform into reeds to escape him. Late 17th/early 18th century, 14.5 x 11.75 inches, fold in the center, in excellent condition, rare and ready to frame if desired.
