Wildrye Distilling Eichen Kirsch
Flathead Lake’s legacy, bottled. Eichen Kirsch is our tribute to Montana’s heritage cherries—the storied Lambert variety—once nearly lost to the “big Freeze” of ’89 and now cherished for their depth and character. We start with fresh Lambert cherries from the shores of Flathead Lake, ferment them with Montana beet sugar, then distill on custom-built pot stills before resting the spirit in oak for no less than four years. The result is a rare, Special Reserve expression that opens with an elegant cherry aroma and unfolds into the layered warmth and structure you’d expect from finely matured whiskies and brandies. Each annual release is limited and distinct, shaped by the season’s fruit and the patient hand of time. Sip it neat to explore its cherry-led complexity, or pair it with dark chocolate and roasted nuts for a decadent finish to the evening. This is Montana craftsmanship—heritage fruit, thoughtful aging, and a finish that lingers long after the last sip.
