Old Souls Odessa is a dun product from an exciting mating with BRR Nellie 15 and SP Smokey 15'. Odessa has the strong, Scottish background we strive for.  Smokey was an AI-born, dun bull using semen from Prionnsa Ruadh of Callachally. Prionnsa was imported from Scotland by Roger and Josette Stagg, a Idaho-based couple breeding Highlands for over four decades. This is a mating designed for what could be a very valuable herd sire. We elected for conventional embryos with this pairing, as we wanted to see some bulls. The heifers will be equally as impressive. STR Encore was the 2023 National AHCA Champion Bull. He weighed 1,822lbs with a ribeye of 18.3 inches at the show in January 2023. He is long, extremely wide, and absolutely correct.
