This 2009 Aged Iron Monk Oolong, or Tie Luo Han (铁罗汉), is one of the famous Four Great Bushes (四大名丛) of Wuyi rock teas. It originates from Huiyuan Rock in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian Province, a region known for producing some of the finest oolong teas. This tea stands out for its history and its distinct, well-balanced flavor. This Tie Luo Han is a roasted, semi-fermented oolong. The leaves are dark green with a slight reddish tint, and when brewed, they produce a bright orange-yellow tea.
