Gene Hunt - Freddy's Dead 12" (L.A. Club Resource, 2014) "The Ron Hardy acolyte first dropped the Nightmare On Elm Street-sampling house track in 1999 via Dustraxx. The LP on which it appeared, Gene Hunt Classics, is long out of print. L.A. Club Resource founder Delroy Edwards considers Gene Hunt a major influence, and put out the Chicago producer's Pandemonium EP on his label earlier this year. For the B-side, the label has acquired "Bong," an unheard track Hunt created in the early '90s." - Matt McDermott (Resident Advisor)
