HERON - "Got Em Fienden" CD

Heron - Got Em Fienden CD (Lay It Down, 2002) There's not much info available on Heron, but from my understanding, he was one of the few Louisville-based rappers from the primarily Jeffersonville-centric stable of L.I.D. artists. Perhaps a product of the times, Got Em Fienden is a little more "Cash Money" sounding ('bigger' beats, more grandiose lyrical style) than the more bare-boned 812 Faculty/Soulja'z murda rap releases that preceded his. This is an 'official' reissue of the album, from what I can tell (received directly from the label, at least), but has a slim-case bootleg/mixtape vibe, lacking some of the original pressing's artwork/liners.
