All digital illustrations in this series were created through a combination of digital painting in Photoshop and photo manipulation. In this artwork, which took me about 6 hours to create, I envision the jar (or box) as a metaphor for Pandora's heart, and she is pouring the hope from her heart container onto America — another divine lady desperately in need of a bit of hope.
