This shiratake (白竹) white bamboo chasen (matcha whisk) is made in the Yabunouchi-ryū (藪内流) style in Takayama, Nara by Chikukaen (竹華園).Yabunouchi-ryū (藪内流) is one of the oldest schools of the Japanese tea ceremony based and combines the wabi aesthetic of Rikyū and Jōō with the elegance and sophistication of Oribe.
