French 19th Century Empire Petite Walnut Commode with Original Marble Top

This elegant French 19th century Empire commode is made of lovely bookmatched mahogany. The top is a lovely gray fossil marble and sits over a wide drawer (all are dovetailed) hidden in the apron of the piece, over two more spacious drawers with ornate pulls and escutcheons. A pair of columns sit on either side of the drawers, and all sit on a thick plinth base with wide, raised feet. The patina of the wood is truly beautiful; be sure to scroll the detailed images.
