Squad Up

I have always been a huge fan of Pokémon, and one of my favorite episodes from the anime was the one featuring the Squirtle Squad. Those mischievous Squirtles with their round sunglasses were just too cool and adorable! I was so inspired by their transformation from troublemakers to heroes that I decided to create a painting titled “Squad Up” to celebrate these iconic characters.When I started the painting, I decided to use only ocean blue. It seemed fitting given their Water-type nature, and I thought it would add a sense of cohesion to the group. I also decided to go with an impressionist style. It’s a bit different than my usual approach, but I thought it would capture the light and atmosphere of the scene in a unique way.As I worked on the painting, I couldn’t help but smile thinking about all the adventures the Squirtle Squad had in the anime.
