The "Original Kings of Prostock"... Ronnie Sox vs. Dick Landy.
Limited-Edition Print of 500 (13x19) Signed and numbered by the Artist. Not enough could be said about the influence, and the contribution of these two men, on the sport of Drag racing, and the allure and mystic of the muscle car era! In fact the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction owes a dept of gratitude to these men, as they are probably two of the biggest reasons a Hemi Cuda would fetch over two million dollars on auction... I won't go into the history of these two cars here, I'm sure many of you early Prostock fans know more about these cars then I do, as I am primarily interested in the artist qualities of the cars... 1971 certainly was a pinnacle time for factory involvement in the sport of Drag Racing..."Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday!" was very much the reality of the day...You could watch Sox racing Landy on Sunday, then head down to the dealership and purchase the street legal version of these cars on Monday...
