   Limited-Edition Print of 350 (13x19) Signed and numbered by the Artist. The year is 1965, July to be exact, at the NHRA Division 1 Championships At "York" US 30 Drag-O-Way in Pennsylvania. Here we see the "Ramchargers" dragster driven by Don Westerdale, as he sets a new National ET record of 7.47 seconds. This is the first, in a long line of dragsters for the Factory backed "Ramchargers" team. So Popular was this team, that MPC released model kit of this car in 1966. This was also the first car to run the "New" 426 Hemi engine. "I was taken with this scene, as it depicts the pastoral settings of some of our early drag strips. York US 30 Drag-O-WAY was one the more famous strips in the northeast with it's setting in the farmlands of Pennsylvania.       The drag racing fans now their 30s, would not remember a time when drag strips didn't have K-Walls running the length of the track.  Some older tracks might still have been running guardrails, but they would neve
