A symbol of transformation and the beautiful temporary nature of all things. Their sweet and gentle presence is always a joy to behold. Full of intricate detail, Spring Monarch floats on a multicolored pattern of wildflowers and is surrounded by a graphic pattern of shimmering gold and black painted line work. The inspiration for the line work surrounding the butterfly came from the suns reflection onto my easel coming through the studio window as I painted. Whenever I look at this image I am reminded of that beautiful fleeting moment when the light of the sun appeared and guided my brushstrokes. ALL SALES FINAL
