Description: A fine art print of the fan blades on the Pratt & Whitney JT9D turbofan engine, which powered the first 747 passenger jet built by Boeing. The first plane built is currently on display at the Museum of Flight in Washington. The first flight was February 9, 1969, with approximately 1500 planes delivered to airlines around the world. Production will stop at the end of 2022; the plane having been replaced by the 777.
