Plait Ring | Brass

Cast chunky ring with braided detail. This ring was hand constructed in wax, then hand formed and refined through traditional metalsmithing.  brass handmade in Detroit, MI Goldeluxe began as a reclaimed vintage Etsy shop in a small apartment. While refining her craft and process as the production manager at a famed Brooklyn jewelry studio, Libby studied traditional lost wax casting and metalsmithing techniques to enhance her practice. Now, Libby lives as an artist and jeweler in the ever-inspiring Detroit maker community, where she melds her New York training with the Midwestern legacy of design sensibility to create handmade pieces intended for versatility and daily wear.
