NutraSafflower - 16 pounds

NutraSafflower, somtimes called Golden Safflower, is a safflower hybrid created to have a thinner hull and a higher level of protein, oil and fat. Thin hulls make it easier for birds to crack open the shells. Birds like Eastern Bluebirds and American Goldfinch with weaker beaks are able to crack open the thin hull. This seed is not preferred by birds in the black bird family like Grackles, Starlings, Brown Headed Cowbirds, and Crows. It is also not preferred by squirrels due to the bitter taste of the shell.
