These beads are made of bone and come from Kenya, Africa. The design is created through a dying method known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The beads are strung on sisal and are often worn as is. The strand is over 24" long, and each bead is about 23 mm in diameter. Eye design may vary slightly between each strand.
