Marbled Newt (Triturus marmoratus) Bioactive Vivarium Kit

     A complete self-cleaning, self-maintaining bioactive Marbled Newt vivarium care kit. The Marbled Newt is a larger European Newt, with females averaging around 6.5". Both genders are known for their recognizable mossy green "marbling" throughout their body on top of a dark brown or black base. Females keep a solid orange streak down their spine, while males grow an impressive striped crest from nape to tail during breeding season.      They are an easier species to maintain, with voracious appetites and a life span of up to twenty years. They are mostly terrestrial as adults, preferring to spend their days under leaf litter and logs near ponds in Western France and parts of Spain.
