The nose emits notes of hibiscus flowers, honeycomb, white grape flesh, grapefruit & citrus. The palate has hints of lychee, more white grape notes along with white pepper, warm, roasted peaches and baked biscuits. This is all wrapped up with a dry finish, with hints of spice, roasted almonds and maple sugar lingering in the mouth.This small batch bottling consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-rum barrels imparting extra character and smooth flavor unique to Irish whiskey. Bottling at 46% with no chill filtration completes an Irish whiskey of true character. Teeling is our attempt to create the most interesting blended Irish whiskey.
