With more snow in the forecast, we need a little hope that Spring is really on its way, and the robin provides that. Here in Wisconsin, we always look forward to the "First Robin" of Spring. It's also the official state bird! I used a robin's egg blue for the crown, and wanted to keep the landscape bleak. The colorful pop of sunrise let's you know we are finally turning the corner.
