Half ivory-colored heavy stock paper over bds, black lettering on spine. Front cover detached but present, the usual foxing throughout, else Fair+ Ready for the binder and priced accordingly. Charming engravings which are unsigned. Charles Dickens worked with the publishing company [William] Bradbury and [Frederick Mullet] Evans for 5-6 years. His son Charles Dickens Jr. married Bessie Evans, daughter of FM Evans.
